It has been far too long since I wrote a blog post! Moving country took a lot more out of me than I thought it would, and as everything here was new to me I had so much adventuring to do! To be honest, everything got a little bit overwhelming and I needed to take a step back from my online world, and from cooking and baking, to find my feet again. I’m sorry it took me so long, but I wanted to make sure I was 100% before coming back.
But now I’m back! 🙂 And ready to get stuck into the world of blogging again.
Since moving to America I’ve discovered so many new things. Florida is hot (no surprise!) and so very humid. I’ve also come to realise that everything eats everything in Florida – I felt like I’d entered the land that time forgot when I first got here 😉
My husband and I are really happy to be in the same country again though, at and that our dinner and movie nights can stop being long distance 🙂 Being married to a military man means that I’ve no doubt we’ll be doing long distance dinners again, but for now we’re enjoying every minute that we get to have together.
One thing I’ve discovered – which possibly isn’t such a good thing lol – is red velvet cake. Ohhh wow is that stuff good. I can’t stop making them…which of course means someone *ahem* has to eat them!
I’ll be posting some new delicious recipes, hopefully every week. But for now, I just want to say hello again to my followers (new and not-so-new), and that it’s good to be back!
